Martons first team played their first friendly in preparation for the season start and they got taught a bit of a lesson by a slick well drilled Norton team.
A reasonable start was undone very early as Norton where allowed to drive into the D through the centre of midfield resulting in a easy tap in for the first goal. Marton did manage to shore up the gaps in midfield during the first half but Norton continued to expose issues with the visitors defence. Early season injuries hampered Marton's plans but what every they did Norton had an answer and ran out deserving winners.
